  • Which Airport should I use?

    • BWI often has the cheapest fares, DCA the most non-stops within the U.S., and IAD the widest range of overseas flights. All three are about an hour from Frederick by car or rideshare.

    • Pro Tip: When you search for flights, use the airport code WAS to search for flights through all three airports!

    Here’s what our trusted life advisor ChatGPT recommends about when to book:

    For U.S.-based guests

    • Mid-July: turn on a Google Flights or Hopper alert so you can see price drops the moment they happen.

    Quick tips to save

    • Flying over Thanksgiving week (22–30 Nov)? Book even earlier—holiday seats sell out first.

    Bottom line

    • U.S. guests: buy between late August and early October; aim to have tickets booked by 15 Oct.

    • International guests: try to secure flights between May and August; avoid booking after 15 Sep.
